3 Things To Think About When Setting Goals

With the new year here, it just seemed appropriate that this month’s theme is all about setting goals.

“New year—a new chapter, new verse, or just the same old story? Ultimately we write it. The choice is ours.” -Alex Morritt

Those of you who know me well, know that I’m really into goal setting. Most of my workshops involve some sort of goal setting. Some of my biggest life accomplishments have come to fruition because I made a commitment to them.

So, over this month I’ll be sharing some tips and tricks to help you set goals, anchor your intentions for the new year, and ensure that you actually get where you want to go.

Here are the 3 main things I think about when I approach goal setting. Watch my video below to find out how I do this:

  1. Choose a goal that feels a bit uncomfortable
  2. Persistent & consistent
  3. Take the next right step

“We spend January 1st walking through our lives, room by room, drawing up a list of work to be done, cracks to be patched. Maybe this year, to balance the list, we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives … not looking for flaws but for potential.”- Ellen Goodman

 Happy New Year!

Keep living your truth,
