Setting Boundaries Doesn’t Have to Be Difficult

This month’s theme is all about learning to set boundaries.
Most of the time when we talk about boundaries it’s in the context of learning how to say “no.” If you’re a “yes” person who really doesn’t have a sense of what energy you can give versus what energy you can take, then saying “no” is something you may want to work on. But I think it is more than that.
Personally, I think boundaries, in general, are more of a broad concept. When you think about boundaries it’s helpful to focus on how you relate to others and to the world around you. That means having a good sense of your values, your needs, and what’s important to you.
You also need to know how to take that knowledge and self-awareness and translate it into ACTION that actually creates a difference with how you relate to everything outside of yourself.
I’m not saying it’s easy, as it’s definitely a lifelong practice, but it’s not as hard as you might think once you understand your needs and values.
In this month’s video I speak to the action of setting boundaries.
